Meet our team
With over 700 children in foster care and the need to recruit 30 foster carers in the next year, the biggest strength we have is our team, we’re not one of those faceless agencies and we’d love you to meet our colleagues and know what they do…

- Michelle Sawmynaden michelle.sawmynaden@lincolnshire.gov.uk
Recruitment Officer
- Millie - I’m the for Lincolnshire Fostering. I’m passionate about finding as many new foster carers as possible for our amazing Lincolnshire children. I love to spend my time talking to people about the difference they could make, holding their hand through the application process and following their progress as they are matched with the children. My background is actually very commercial so it’s brilliant now to be able to make a real difference in society especially in an organisation like this.
Assessing Social Workers
- Marketing and Recruitment Officers (you’ll see these guys at our events and the You Can Foster events)
- Shona Finnie – shona.finnie@lincolnshire.gov.uk
- Andrew Cavendish-Grey, Andrew.cavendish-grey@lincolnshire.gov.uk
- Home Visits – Children and Families Officer
The Supervision and Support Team
- Practice Supervisors
- Supervising Social Workers
- Placement Support Workers
- Staying Put – Children and Families Officer
- Duty Desk Children and Families Officers
I’ve been with Lincolnshire Fostering for 22 years and many of our foster carers will know me as I man the duty desk and am often their first point of contact. From trying to find emergency placements for children (sometimes with less than an hour’s notice) to offering frontline advice when children are bing challenging, I find my job incredibly rewarding and have made some brilliant friendships with our carers.” AM created this, not approved
